Mixing Oils
The calculations for mixing any two viscosities of oil to obtain a specific viscosity.
Note: You should only mix oils of the same brand and formulation
In the first module
Fill in:
- The viscosity of the first oil you want to mix
- The viscosity of the second oil you want to mix
- The percentage of the first oil you want to mix
- The temperature of these two viscosities
In the second module
Fill in:
- The viscosity of the first oil you want to mix
- The viscosity of the second oil you want to mix
- Your desired final viscosity
- The temperatures of these viscosities
Note the viscosities of of two oils and the percentage of the first oil you plan on using. Select the temperature that goes with those viscosities and click the "Calculate" button To start over, click the "Clear" button Calculate the percentage of each of two oils to be mixed to obtain a desired viscosity at a specific temperature Note the viscosities of the two oils and your desired viscosity. Select the temperature and click the calculate button To start over, click the "Clear" button
