Calculating the viscosity curve
The values shown are typical. You can fill in the names and viscosities (at 40°C y 100° C) for. When you press "Calculate" the graph will modify to show the curve for the four oils you have added. This will give you a general idea of the viscosity at your local temperatures.
The data you need should be available in the technical sheets of the oils you are considering.
Click here if you only know the viscosity of the oil at 40 (ISO viscosity grade) and the viscosity index.
Click here if you need to convert the oils from other viscosity systems (SUS, Engler, Redwood, etc.)
This calculator is now in HTML5, and should work in all browsers, except that we are still working on the format so that names fit in boxes and the top part fits in the page without scrolling.
