Here we can see the car as I found it. In the 20 some years that it has been sitting here, the owner of the shop has done some of the body work. Many of the parts and trim are in the trunk.
It is missing the distributor and some of the trim. According to him the engine has less than 5 miles on it since being overhauled, but I will take it apart to check.
The front bumper is all there, but will need some straightening and re-chroming.
One front seat is missing and the rear needs some work. If I don't run across an original seat I will replace the front set with something in the market from Toyota or Nissan. (I later found seats in Argentina) The rear can easily be reupholstered.
The rear brakes are rusted against the drums and the steering is jammed straight ahead. Those will be my first task when I get back to Tarija.
There are 5 wheels for the car, but no tires. After a few hours of searching I was able to find 4 tires that I could put tubes in and work with for the time being.
