Back in Tarija after a couple of months, reviewing the parts I have and starting on the rear suspension and transmission.
Here we have a better view of the bumpers that will need a little work before re-chroming and the aluminum vents that I'll try to replace.
A llittle diesel fuel applied to the bolts helped loosen them and the suspension came out relatively easily. Some parts had lots of caked on grease with dirt, others rusty, but After the power washing it should come clean with the sandblasting.
The gas tank has holes in it, and the inspection camera I put down the tube shows lots of rust, so I'll have to replace the bottom half.
The transmission looks like the oil is fresh, but it is very thick, probably a SAE 250.
The CV joint was full of mud and rust, with the axles filled with caked old grease.
The main power train support was cracked on both sides.
