The difference between Red ATF oils
ATF Type A was one of the first generations of ATF, produced for automatic transmissions of the 1950's. There are very few standards for it, and many of the products have a viscosity index of 50, verses an index of 190 for a good ATF to hold its viscosity at higher temperatures
El aceite Tipo A es muy Viscoso en el frío y muy delgado en el calor.
This graph is for typical products of these advertised viscosities.

Between 20℃ yand 50℃
Between 25℃ and 30℃ the viscosity curves of Type A and Dexron cross. After that, the Type A does not have enough viscosity to do its job.

Between 50℃ and 80℃
Between 50℃ and 80℃ the Type A does not have enough viscosity to protect the hydraulic pumps and function as a lubricant.
