Time goes by, but we finally got the Renault back in the work lane at the body shop where they finished up the panels, straightened the bumpers, and painted it.
Pulling the dash out, my grandson Nathan helped me clean and treat the rubber seal while I polished the aluminum trim.
At the body shop I decided on a brown dash to match the upholstery (rather than the black original).
I took the bumpers to Santa Cruz and to Cromatex to finish the sanding and re-chrome them.
Then took the hinges to Corimexo to have them chromed and some pieces of door springs to Ingemac to fabricate new ones.
Another machine shop also finished re-sleeving the door latches, so they are ready to put on.
The paint I chose is Nissan White Pearl. Not the easiest to paint, but it will have a nice deep reflection.
